The vaccination campaign with free choice of vaccines at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV) is extended for another week. Demand remains high this week – comparable to last week, when around 4,600 people took advantage of the offer of vaccination without registration at the ACV. The vaccines from Biontech/Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson have been in greatest demand so far. However, the other two vaccines have also been vaccinated to a lesser extent. All that is required to receive a vaccination is a photo ID and an e-card if available.

Meanwhile, after the current health minister, his predecessor Rudolf Anschober (Greens) also spoke out on Twitter. The number of new infections is far too high, he said, and it’s not just about intensive care units, but also about Long Covid. “Vaccinate, test and be careful!”, Anschober therefore urges.
