Vienna, 27 August 2021 – The European Network of Filipino Diaspora Austria (ENFiD-Austria) conducted two Runway Castings on 12 & 26 August 2021 at Palais Niederösterreich, Herrengasse 13, 1010 and CH Gast, Börsegasse 1, 1010 Vienna respectively. In search of models who will take part in a one-of-a-kind fashion show, “Philippine Fashion Invasion” Juries, Minnie Langer and Sarah Jozelle Rojas together with the designer, Lionell Christian P. Lanuzo selected almost 40 models for the show, all enthusiastic to take on the challenge ahead.
The fashion show which will take place on 11 September 2021 is one of the milestone events that ENFiD-Austria is organizing to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Philippine-Austrian Bilateral Relations this year. Another event is the “ “Pamana/Erbe/Heritage II” Philippine and Austrian Festivals Parade on Saturday, 30 October 2021. This will showcase Philippine festivals such as the Sinulog, Ati Atihan, Panagbenga, Masskara and Austrian festivals such as Faschingsfest, Dirndl/Lederhosen fest, even the participation of an Austrian Brass Band.

Lionell Christian P. Lanuzo, the Milan based designer whose creations will be presented is excited about the 3-segment show featuring Modern Terno/Modern Barong, Avantgarde and Creative Designs and the Golden Treasures and Tribes.
ENFiD-Austria fast-growing Europe-wide cross-sectoral, all-inclusive overseas-Filipino platform in Europe that has genuine developmental ambitions translated into timely and relevant actions for Euro-Filipinos and the Philippines. It was established on 15 October 2017, in Vienna, Austria. Young and small as it is, with 8 adult and 2 youth members, it has organized various activities in line with its 4E Programmes and Advocacies: Education and Learning, Embracing the Environment, Empowering Euro Pinoy Youth, Elevating Arts, Culture and Sports.
