It remains warm and most of the time the sun shines. Again, however, it is not constant. For a few hours, fog or high fog may persist in places, as in Upper and Lower Austria and in some Alpine valleys. Clouds are also present from time to time and it may also rain briefly. Thus, showers are possible in some areas over midday and thunderstorms may develop during the afternoon, especially in Tyrol, Salzburg and Upper Carinthia.
The wind is only light to moderate and comes mostly from the northwest. Temperatures will rise to 21 to 28 degrees, to 28 degrees in the southeast. At 2000m altitude it will be 11 to 14 degrees in the afternoon.

Across Austria, temperatures like summer and sunny most of the time. However, there will also be a few fog, high fog and cloud fields. In the afternoon, individual thundery showers are possible in the east and along and south of the main ridge of the Alps. In addition, more and more clouds arrive in Vorarlberg and Tyrol in the afternoon.
The wind shifts to east to south and is moderate, occasionally brisk and slightly foehny. Temperatures climb to 23 to near 30 degrees, at 2000m to 12 to 16 degrees.

Temperatures will reach 21 to 30 degrees, up to 30 in places in the east and southeast. At 2000m altitude it will be around 14 degrees.
The further trend
On Thursday, a rain zone will move through from the west, and in addition there will be an increased tendency for showers and thunderstorms for most of the day. However, there will also be a few hours of sunshine. For the time being, the sun will be limited to Vorarlberg and Tyrol. In the course of the afternoon, it will become increasingly sunny from the west. Moderate to brisk wind from northwest to southwest. Afternoon temperatures: 18 to 26 degrees, 26 in places in the west and south.
On Friday unsettled. In the first hours cloudy and rainy, thunderstorms. Sun only in the southwest. Towards the afternoon, more showers, but also longer sunny phases throughout Austria. Moderate to brisk wind, mostly from west to north. The highest temperatures: mostly 17 to 24, in Carinthia up to 26 degrees.
