From Sunday to Monday, 1,312 new Corona cases were registered. Seven new deaths were reported.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 737,202 positive test results have been recorded in Austria. 705,102 have recovered. 10,976 deaths have been registered in connection with the coronavirus.
Currently, 884 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to coronavirus. Of these, 234 are being cared for in intensive care units.
Weakest vaccination day since January
Sunday was the weakest vaccination day since the end of January. Only 1,963 stings were administered, according to the Ministry of Health’s dashboard.
At the end of January, with vaccine shortages, there were 1,424 stings – also on a Sunday. According to the E-vaccine passport, 5,707,472 people in Austria have received at least a partial vaccination, or 63.9 percent of the population. 5,389,744 people, or 60.3 percent of Austria’s population, have been fully immunized to date.
