Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen invites to the Corona vaccination at the Hofburg on the national holiday. “Get your spade in the most beautiful vaccination street of Austria, in the Marble Hall of the Hofburg. And afterwards, I invite you to stroll through the Presidential Chancellery,” the head of state advertises in a video on Youtube: “We’re turning the Hofburg into a vaccination castle this year!”
The Hofburg, in cooperation with the City of Vienna and Johanniter is organizing a vaccination street for all those who have not yet been vaccinated. As a thank you, a tour of the representative premises of the presidential chancellery awaits, it said. Because of the Covid 19 situation, a “classic open day” is not possible this year. Therefore, the Hofburg is only open to those who wish to be vaccinated.
The Vaccination Street at the Hofburg is organized jointly with the Vaccination Service of the City of Vienna. On www.impfservice.wien/corona interested can register themselves and for the inoculation date on 26 October between 12 and 18 o’clock announce. An appointment reservation is alternatively also by telephone under the free number 1450 possible. For those who decide spontaneously, there will be a small contingent of free appointments.
