The highest level of new infections since the beginning of the Corona pandemic has been measured so far: More than 10,000 cases in Austria for the first time.
For the first time over 10,000 new infections in Austria: from Tuesday to Wednesday the highest value so far since the beginning of the pandemic was measured.
According to the Epidemiological Reporting System (EMS), 11,398 people have become infected with the coronavirus. This results in 85,611 people actively ill with corona. Twenty-three new deaths have been identified related to Covid-19.
There are currently 413 patients with infection in intensive care units across the country.
The seven-day incidence per 100,000 population is now 713.9. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 11,577 people with corona infection have lost their lives.
