2,374 new corona infections in Austria on Friday

The number of new Corona infections on Friday is below the 2,500 mark: 2,374 new infections occurred, according to a press release from the Interior Ministry.

So far, there have been 1,260,751 positive test results in Austria. As of today (December 24, 9:30 a.m.), 13,617 people across Austria have died as a result of the Corona virus and 1,214,967 have recovered. Currently, 1,364 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to the Corona virus. Of these, 418 are being cared for in intensive care units.
