The New Year 2021 will end again a little more quietly than the years before the Corona crisis. Find out what is and is not allowed and what Corona rules apply on New Year’s Eve here.

Starting the new year with a party is usually on the agenda on December 31. However, New Year’s Eve 2021 will once again not be so sparkling due to the corona pandemic. The lockdown for the unvaccinated takes a break on New Year’s Eve.

Whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, everyone will be allowed to celebrate New Year’s Eve outdoors in 2021. Nevertheless, there are rules. Especially in the private sphere. For the unvaccinated, a celebration in a small circle of up to ten people is allowed and curfew restrictions also fall. For those with vaccination, slightly larger parties are allowed with a maximum of 25 people and 2G proof. Gastro doors are open until 10pm, after which take-away is allowed. Clubs and discos remain closed to all. The police are not allowed to control in the private area. However, if they are called because of noise nuisance, they may also control the observance of the Corona rules.
