The Ministries of Health and Interior have reported 25,610 newly registered CoV cases within the last 24 hours (as of 9:30 a.m. today). The states reported these numbers to the national crisis team.
14,000 people have died as a result of coronavirus so far. Currently, 1,200 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to the coronavirus, 187 of them in intensive care units.
AGES: 7-day incidence at 1,867.1
According to the Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), the 7-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections with the coronavirus in the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants, is 1,867.1 (as of yesterday, 14:00).
Tyrol has the highest value with 2,737.0, followed by Salzburg with 2,607.9 and Vienna with 2,417.8. The lowest 7-day incidence is in Burgenland (1,311.4) and Styria (1,265.5).
