Fourteen new deaths linked to Covid-19.
From Sunday to Monday, 27,299 new infections were registered in Austria. This is below the average of 32,664 over the past seven days.
Currently, 350,419 people in Austria are actively infected with the coronavirus. The seven-day incidence is 2,568.78. In the past 24 hours, 375,217 new PCR tests were performed. This results in a positive rate of 7.28 percent.
There are also 14 new deaths associated with Covid-19 infection to report. Thus, the pandemic has claimed 14,246 lives in Austria so far.
The number of Corona patients currently continues to increase. A total of 1,955 patients are now being treated in the hospital – 59 more than yesterday. Two hundred two people are being cared for in intensive care units – one more than yesterday.
