In the Vienna parish church of the Ukrainian Uniate Parish, St. Barbara, donations for the war zone are being received.
The choir director said that the goods are brought to the border and Ukraine for distribution through private channels. “We especially need medicine for the wounded and warm clothing.”
“No light clothing” – a handwritten note hangs at the entrance gate, along with a very long printed list of medicines. Above all, painkillers and bandages are needed to save lives in Ukraine. The collection began on Friday, and since then, the gates have been open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., even on weekends. And it’s not just members of the Ukrainian community who come. “There are very, very many Austrians who want to help,” the churchman said.
He said that five to six cars or vans had left so far with the urgently needed goods, and space is already running out at Postgasse 8, so some of the donated materials have been placed in other warehouses where they await transport to the war zone. But donations are still requested; warm clothes and blankets for children, sleeping bags, and money are urgently needed, stressed the choirmaster.
Outside the door, two elderly ladies have become aware of the hustle and bustle, read the appeals for donations, and are informed by the helpers standing by the entrance. They also want to come back in the afternoon to support the needy people in Ukraine.

Very helpful! Is there anything more I should think
about next? Or is this okay?
Right here is the right site for anybody who wishes to
understand this topic. You realize a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you
(not that I personally will need to…HaHa).
You definitely put a new spin on a subject which has been written about for ages.
Wonderful stuff, just great!
