More than 12,000 new corona infections were reported on Wednesday
On a Wednesday, this is above the average of 11,837 positive tests over the past seven days but well below the 21,076 new cases reported last Wednesday. Higher than the weekly average is the number of Corona deaths, with 38 in one day. Hospital occupancy of infected persons fell by 150 to 2,337 affected persons, and seven-day incidence fell below 1,000 for the first time since January.
Within a week, the number of patients dropped by 19 percent and 536 people. On Wednesday, one hundred ninety people were still being cared for in intensive care units. Since the previous day, this number decreased by two and has reduced by 36 patients in one week.
