Corona numbers in Austria continue to decline. On Thursday, the day the new measures were announced, 10,483 new cases were reported.
Corona numbers in Austria have been dropping significantly for weeks. After 8,033 new corona infections on Monday and 8,651 new cases on Tuesday, Wednesday also decreased substantially with 12,471 new conditions. On Thursday, however, the numbers took some time to come in. An update came late afternoon: 10,483 new infections were now recorded throughout Austria.

To date, there have been 4,027,023 positive test results in Austria. Today (April 14, 9:30 a.m.), 16,359 persons with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died, and 3,857,030 have recovered throughout Austria. Currently, 2,217 persons infected with coronavirus are receiving hospital care. Of these, 187 are being cared for in intensive care units.
