9,528 new corona infections in Austria on Thursday

There were 9,528 new Corona infections in Austria on Thursday in a 24-hour comparison. Six hundred sixty-two people are currently hospitalized with a Corona infection.

After more than 10,000 new Corona infections within 24 hours on Wednesday, the number of new cases was back in four figures on Thursday. But on average, case numbers continue to rise. The Interior and Health ministries reported 9,528 new infections Thursday and five more deaths. Hospitals also have to treat more infected patients again.
