Members of the Association of Pangasinenses in Austria (APA) joined the parishioners and friends of the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Vienna’s 21st District on the celebration of the Feast of the Heart of Jesus and, at the same time, the 65th Priesthood Anniversary of the Parish Priest, P. Joseph Giggenbacher.
APA has established itself as a religious group in the parish since the original image of Our Lady of Manaoag is currently enshrined at the parish church.
Aside from the group‘s regular religious services in the church, members are also conducting fundraising activities for the benefit of the parish, i.e., cooking and preparing traditional Filipino foods for the Austrian friends. APA likewise organizes the church’s cleaning campaign now and then.
