Eleven new deaths were linked to Covid 19 infection.
From Tuesday to Wednesday, the Ministry of Health reported 12,509 new infections in Austria. This is well above the 7-day average of 9,080 infections. The 7-day incidence rises to 714.09.
This brings the number of active Corona cases to 96,231. One hundred forty-one thousand four hundred ninety-nine new PCR tests were made in the past 24 hours. This results in a positive rate of 8.84 percent.
In addition, there are 11 new deaths. This means that 18,779 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died nationwide so far.
