EU: Fourth vaccination recommended for over-60s

In Austria, the National Vaccination Panel had recently recommended the fourth sting for those 65 and older and those at risk.

The EU recommends a fourth Corona vaccination for people over 60. “Given the renewed increase in cases and hospitalizations with the start of summer, I urge everyone to get vaccinated and boostered as soon as possible,” EU Health Commissioner Stella Kyriakides said Monday, according to a statement from EU health authorities.

In Austria, the National Vaccination Board had recently recommended the fourth prick starting at age 65 and for at-risk individuals.
