Conditions imposed during the Corona pandemic have been removed for travel to France. This week, proof of Corona vaccination protection, a negative test, or convalescent status is no longer required.
Health documents are no longer necessary when vacationing in France.
The popular vacation destination lifted a series of special rules to combat the coronavirus at the turn of the month.
Rules may be quickly reintroduced.
Previously, travelers entering the country had to be either fully vaccinated or have a recent negative corona test; for travelers from the EU and some other countries, proof of a recent infection was also accepted. This is now generally no longer required. However, if dangerous virus variants occur, the government may order travelers to present a negative test before boarding a plane to France.
