On Monday, 2,231 new Corona infections were recorded. There are currently 1,150 Corona-infected people in hospitals.

Currently, 45,826 people in Austria are infected with Corona, according to an update from the Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES). The seven-day incidence in Austria is currently 333.6 infections per 100,000 inhabitants, up from 366.5 the previous day.

2,231 new Corona infections were reported Tuesday
On Monday, 2,231 new infections were added. That’s well below the average of 4,302 new cases over the past seven days. There were 1,150 infected people in the hospital on Tuesday morning, down 16 from Monday. Of these, 52 are in intensive care, down eleven from yesterday.

Three Corona deaths on Monday
Three deaths were reported on Monday. This brought the total number of Corona deaths in Austria to 21,376.
