On Monday, dense clouds and rain showers will predominate throughout Austria. Especially in the south, some rain or even snowfall is sometimes expected. Otherwise, it will remain mostly rainless, but the sun will hardly show itself. Only in the west will there be some clearing in the afternoon. The daily maximum temperatures will reach 2 to 8 degrees at most.
The heavy clouds prevail during the day also on Tuesday. Only in the south are sunnier phases also expected. Thus, the snow line will rise from about 500 meters in the morning to 1200 meters in the afternoon. Early temperatures will reach a maximum of 3 degrees. By the afternoon, 12 degrees can be achieved.
Wednesday starts with a warm front across Austria. Nevertheless, clouds predominate in large parts of the country; a few sunny stretches are only in the south. In the west and north, it will start raining or snowing in the morning. Only in the east will it remain dry throughout. The wind will be moderate to brisk. The daily highs will be between 5 and 14 degrees.
Especially in the west and north, clouds will predominate on Thursday, and it will rain again and again. As in the days before, only the east will remain dry. Sometimes even the sun will shine through. The early morning temperatures climb up to 4 degrees. During the day, up to 14 degrees are possible. It will be the warmest in the southeast.
Friday will be unsettled and rainy. However, by the afternoon, the sun will come through throughout Austria and remain mostly dry until the evening. The snow line will be between 1300 and 1800 meters. Up to 15 degrees can be reached, especially in the east.
