The temperature plunged by almost 20 degrees.
Now it’s going to get uncomfortable once again! Meteorologists are predicting a significant drop in temperatures over the next few days. While almost summery 21 degrees were still measured in Linz on Thursday, it’s going steeply downhill in the next few days. On Friday, it starts; in the morning, some clouds move across the country, but it remains dry.
Temperatures will once again become spring-like. At noon, it can be a very mild 14 to 20 degrees. The temperature will drop hourly in the afternoon with increasingly strong westerly winds.
On Saturday, it will already be colder; a maximum of 15 degrees plus is possible. The westerly wind freshens, and the perceived temperature drops rapidly. Also, there will be a maximum of 14 degrees on Sunday, but it will remain largely dry.
In some parts of Austria, Monday will be a bit colder. The temperatures plummet to only one to a maximum of seven degrees – so it has 20 degrees less than last. The snow line drops to only 600 meters, but it may well snow even below that. More about the weather crash is also here.
