As of September, everyone who has lived in Austria for 183 days as of July 1 will again receive the climate bonus. Children will receive half the amount, while prisoners will be left empty-handed this year. The bonus amount depends on the region (110 and 220 €). Only the Viennese receive the initial amount of €110, while the bonus is €150 in area districts such as Floridsdorf or Simmering.
You can find out which category you fall into (€110, €150, €185, €220) at klimabonus.gv.at. The money will be sent to your account or as a Sodexo voucher by mail. To ensure that the money is transferred to the report, the data in the Finanzonline system must be up to date.
