Typical Filipino games like patintero, piko, luksong tinik, siyato and other traditional Philippine games are the highlights of this year’s Palarong Pinoy organized by the Barangay Center in Vienna.
Cristina Salvador, one of the organizers of the sports event, invites everyone to the sports festival.
„Let us experience the first-hand power and magic of sports and games in enhancing social cohesion and local integration,“ Salvador said.
The Palarong Pinoy likewise encourages participants to develop better physical and mental health. It allows them to develop skills in sports and competence, learn to respect others, play fairly and generally develop good sportsmanship.
PALARONG PINOY 2023 will take place on Saturday, 15 July 2023, at the grounds oft he Parish of Leopoldau, Leopoldauer Platz 12, 1210 Vienna. This will start at 7.30 AM.
Through the Palarong Pinoy, Filipinos here in Austria can honour their traditions and share their culture and traditions with other nationalities, who are invited to join the sports fest.
