For the most part, September is ending on a late summer note. The upcoming days are expected to be mostly sunny with rising temperatures, according to Geosphere Austria. This is a result of its high Balkan-centered center and eastern Alps-facing edges.

Monday’s weather will be dominated by low-pressure differences and light winds, which will favor the persistence of fog and high fog in basins and valleys. High fog cloud cover will persist regionally into the afternoon in the east. Outside the fog zones, it is consistently sunny and mild. Early temperatures range between five and 14 degrees, with the highest values in the east. Daytime highs will reach 16 to 23 degrees, depending on fog dissipation.

On Tuesday, fog and high fog will persist in some valleys and basins and the north and east until mid-morning. Overall, however, sunshine will prevail again under high pressure. The wind will be light, in the northeast moderate, from east to southeast—early temperatures between six and 14 degrees and daily highs between 20 and 26 degrees.

It gets warmer and warmer
The late summer and warm weather will continue under high pressure on Wednesday. Fog patches will mostly dissolve in the morning. Otherwise, the sun will shine widely, and only a few high clouds will appear temporarily. The wind will be generally weak from east to south but will be partly moderate in the eastern region. It will be seven to 13 degrees in the morning, and during the day, it will be 21 to 27 degrees.

Thursday will also be warm, with cloud fields moving from Vorarlberg to Salzburg. Further east and south, the sun will initially shine widely before a few cloud fields also feel themselves here. However, no precipitation is expected. Often, it will be lightly windy. The wind will blow moderately from southeast to south in the far east. The day will start at six to 14 degrees, with 21 to 27 degrees high.

Dense cloud fields will sometimes pass through on Friday, but the sunny part will predominate towards the west. The wind will be mostly light and temporarily moderate from south to northwest. Early temperatures will range from seven to 13 degrees, with a daily maximum of 21 to 26 degrees.
