On Sunday, the sun will shine from Vorarlberg to Carinthia after quickly clearing early fog. In the north and east, dense cloud fields and intermittent light rain will move in during the morning with strong westerly to northwesterly winds, accumulating in the day, especially in the eastern Alps. In the south and especially in the west, it will remain dry. In the afternoon, it will loosen up again from the northeast. Temperatures will reach 16 to 26 degrees from north to south.
Foehn and wind cloud the friendly October trend
On Monday, most early morning fog and high fog patches will quickly dissipate, but they will be more persistent in the southeast. During the day, cloud fields will move through repeatedly, but mostly, a friendly mix of sun and clouds will appear. However, a few drops are still possible from the Salzkammergut to Upper Styria. A moderate southeast wind will blow in the far east, otherwise from westerly directions. With 17 to 26 degrees, it will again be warm.
On Tuesday, the day will start cloudy towards the east, and along the eastern Northern Alps, the last drops will fall. In the west and south, as well as in the far east, many clearings will occur during the day with a partly foehn northwesterly wind. Highs will range between 18 and 26 degrees from east to west.
