The vibrant and colorful Filipino Festivals Parade in Vienna is set to showcase the beauty and diversity of the Philippines’ rich cultural heritage. Organized by the European Network of Filipino Diaspora-Austria (ENFiD-Austria), this historical event brings together the Filipino community in Austria and beyond to celebrate their roots and traditions.

Now in its 4th year, the Filipino Festivals Parade will feature representatives from 17 European countries, FilCom, and international organizations based in Vienna. Leading the parade will be the renowned Musikkapelle Musikverein Leopoldau, a multi-awarded music band in Austria, with their 25-man/woman band setting the tone for the festive event.

Parade participants will be able to showcase their creativity and cultural pride, with a chance to win the 1000 euro first prize. The parade will kick off from Stephansplatz and make its way to Sigmund Freud Park, a beautiful green space bordering the historic Votiv Church in the 1st district of Vienna.

The Pamana Parade and its program will feature performances from different regions and societies in the Philippines, highlighting the diversity of Filipino culture. This event is a wonderful opportunity for Filipinos in Austria to unite and share their heritage with the wider community.

The inaugural event occurred on October 30, 2021, and received high praise from the Philippine Embassy in Vienna for promoting Filipino culture and community spirit. Marizel Rojas, president of ENFID-Austria, is excited to invite Filipinos and friends in Austria to join the Pamana IV Festivals parade on Saturday, June 1, 2024, starting at 13 Hours in the first district of Vienna.

Whether as participants, sponsors, or spectators, everyone is encouraged to participate in this colorful and lively celebration of Filipino culture. The Filipino Festivals Parade in Vienna promises to be a memorable event that will showcase the beauty and vibrancy of Filipino traditions to a global audience.
