Up to Sunday, the days are in the sign of increasing heat. Geosphere Austria expects a regional peak to reach 35 degrees. Only then will storms and cooling follow, according to the forecast published on Thursday.

On Friday, you can expect at least temporary sunshine. From noon, spring clouds form, and especially in the west and north, there are a few rains and thunderstorms.
The wind is weak to moderate in the Danube valley, and thunderstorms are partly lively from south to northwest. In the morning, the temperatures range from 11 to 21 degrees; in the afternoon, they range from 25 to 32 degrees. Often, sunny and hot weather is on the agenda on Saturdays. In the afternoon, a few clouds are formed, and isolated heat is most likely to occur in the mountains in the southwest. The winds are weak to moderate, partly lively along the Alpenside, mostly from east to southwest. Morning temperatures range from 11 to 21 degrees, and afternoon temperatures from 27 to 34 degrees.

It will be unstable in the west starting Sunday morning with some rains and thunderstorms, with partly strong clouds. Otherwise, the sun will be largely untouched until noon. In the northeastern plains, the risk of thunderstorms also increases in the evening. It is expected to remain dry for the longest time in Unterkärnten, the southern and eastern Steiermark, and Burgenland, where strong, partly feathered south-to-southwest winds can usually suppress the formation of spring clouds. In the rainy and thunderstorm zones, winds are expected to rotate to the west, and strong clouds locally. Strong storm cells are dangerous, especially in the overheated east. Morning temperatures usually reach 15 to 24, and peak temperatures from west to east are 23 to 35 degrees.

Rainfall on Mondays and Tuesdays
On Monday, there will be significantly cooler air masses than the last one in Austria, and the weather will be very volatile at the beginning of the week. Some rain is on the way and can sometimes become rainy during the day. In the south and southeast, it will rain in the morning. The clouds occasionally loosen up and allow the sun to pass through; in the northeast, the chances of sunny periods are most favorable. The wind blows from the west to the northwest with a moderate to strong breeze from the night until the afternoon. It continues to fall far from the winds, at temperatures from twelve to 20 in the morning and daytime maximum temperatures of 19 to 25 degrees.

Tuesday will be overcast. At first, a few residual clouds and local early fog fields can hold. Later, more and more source clouds joined in the sunshine. This leads to a number of rains and thunderstorms locally. The focus of the precipitation is in the west, where it can rain for longer periods of time, while in the east, it could often remain dry from today’s point of view. The wind is weak to moderate and comes from the western direction, the Alps coast, and the north. In the morning, temperatures will be between 10 and 17 degrees, followed by daily maximum temperatures of approximately 20 to 27 degrees.
