Huawei explains that there is a specific procedure for charging a cell phone. What should be done first: connecting the smartphone to the cable or plugging the charger into the socket?
Even though smartphone battery performance has improved significantly, especially in recent years, and cell phones no longer need to be plugged in quite so often, the charging process remains an (almost) daily ritual. You can’t really do much wrong here—or can you? Smartphone manufacturer Huawei has addressed the issue and explained the correct sequence. Of course, this also applies to other cell phones.
According to Huawei, there are two reasons why we should charge smartphones in the right order. First, it increases the longevity of the battery and cable used. Second, it can also prevent possible overvoltage, which can be avoided with a spark gap.
