It all kicks off on 31 May: Vienna Pride 2025 brings two weeks of color, diversity, and clear messages to the federal capital. From parties to politics – all of Vienna will be under the sign of the rainbow.

More than 300,000 people are expected to attend the legendary rainbow parade on June 14, which will be taking place on Vienna’s Ringstrasse for the 29th time this year – as always, “the other way around”, i.e., against the direction of travel. The parade begins at noon at Rathausplatz. The parade is the largest demonstration in Austria and, therefore, also the highlight of Vienna Pride.

Pride Village: Vienna’s heart beats colorfully
In the middle of the city, right on Rathausplatz, the Pride Village will be set up again from June 12 to 14. There will be a full stage program for three days, including Melanie C, Rose May Alaba, and Conchita Wurst. On June 13, the Pride Run Vienna, which will once again take place on Ringstrasse, will be a sporting event. Pride Week kicks off with the traditional Mariahilfer street festival “andersrum ist nicht verkehrt” in Esterhazygasse between Mariahilfer Straße and Damböckgasse.

Over 50 events throughout Vienna
Vienna Pride has long been more than just a weekend – with over 50 events, Vienna is transformed into a stage for diversity for two weeks. From Pride Beach Day and drag events to after-parties at the Grellen Forelle, the Ottakringer Brewery, the Fluc or the Camera Club – there’s something for everyone. Under the motto “Unite in Pride”, Vienna Pride 2025 is once again sending out a strong signal. All events and details can be found online.
