VIENNA, Austria — June 2, 2025 — The internationally acclaimed Ateneo Chamber Singers (ACS) from the Philippines will take center stage this evening at Canisius Kirche for a special concert featuring choral and sacred music.
Organised in partnership with the Philippine-Austrian Cultural and Educational Society (PACES), the performance is set for 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Lustkandlgasse 36, 1090 Vienna.
Founded in 2002, the Ateneo Chamber Singers have become global ambassadors of Filipino choral excellence. They have captured top prizes at elite international competitions, including the World Choir Games (Latvia), Canta al Mar Choral Festival (Spain), and the Certamen Internacional de Habaneras y Polifonía. In 2018, ACS was among the select few invited back to the 50th Tolosa International Choral Contest in Spain as past champions—a testament to their enduring legacy.
Beyond competitions, ACS has shared the stage with global icons such as Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban, and contributed to major productions, including the film Ignacio de Loyola and National Geographic’s Symphony for Our World concert in Manila.
Tonight’s Vienna concert offers a rare opportunity for European audiences to experience the vocal precision, rich harmonies, and heartfelt spirituality that define the ensemble’s performances.
