The Filipino community in Vienna is set to host its much-anticipated annual Barrio Fiesta on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the ATV Liesing Sportplatz, located at Franz Heidergasse 14/Pellmanngasse 2, 1230 Vienna. Festivities will kick off with a Thanksgiving Mass at 10:00 AM, followed by a full day of cultural celebration, music, food, and community spirit.
Organized by the Council of Filipino Associations in Austria, in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy, Vienna, this year’s event is expected to attract hundreds of participants from Vienna and its surrounding regions. The council, under the leadership of Chairman Elmer Blanco, has been working closely with local groups to ensure a prosperous and inclusive celebration.
The Barrio Fiesta has long been a cornerstone of the Filipino-Austrian calendar, offering a platform for Filipinos in Austria to celebrate their heritage, strengthen community ties, and share their culture with others.
