A moving musical drama by the PREDA Youth Group about the rights and dignity of the world’s children (in German)!
In this musical, Filipino youths provide a moving insight into their lives, their experiences, and their often tragic circumstances.
Through dance and song, those affected express their pain and give voice to their fate. The play shows the severity and global extent of child abuse and exploitation from the perspective of some of those affected.
At the same time, it conveys a powerful message: hope, solidarity, resilience, and determination can overcome even these adverse circumstances.
The child protection organization PREDA, founded in 1974 by Irish priest Father Shay Cullen in the Philippines, provides a home for affected children and young people in its shelters. PREDA advocates for children and women in the Philippines and is committed to children’s and human rights worldwide.
The musical was created as part of a holistic therapy program at PREDA. This therapy helps those affected to process traumatic experiences and develop new perspectives on life. PREDA is financed by donations and the sale of fair trade mango products, which are available in many world shops and can be sampled at the event.

The organizer points out that the musical deals with topics such as sexual violence and death.
If audience members do not wish to or are unable to deal with these topics, they are advised not to attend.
