The Global Save Life Foundation (GSLF) celebrated its 7th anniversary on January 11, 2025, with a warm gathering of officers, members, supporters, and distinguished guests in Vienna. Among those in attendance were the Ambassador of the Philippines to Austria, Evangelina Lourdes Arroyo-Bernas, and Consul General Zoilo Velasco, whose presence underscored the importance of the foundation’s humanitarian mission.
A Mission Rooted in Compassion
Founded by Filipinos in Austria, GSLF has dedicated itself to providing financial and medical assistance to individuals affected by natural disasters and serious health conditions in the Philippines. Over the past seven years, the foundation has mobilized resources for numerous relief efforts, consistently demonstrating its deep concern for the welfare of vulnerable communities.
Strengthening Support Through Fundraising
During the celebration, GSLF President Elmer Blanco expressed heartfelt gratitude to members, donors, and benefactors. He emphasized that their generosity plays a vital role in delivering immediate relief and supporting long-term recovery in disaster-stricken areas.

Why Continued Support Matters
Humanitarian organizations like GSLF are essential in responding to crises. Their fundraising initiatives help sustain programs that provide:
- Food and Shelter: Essential supplies and temporary housing for displaced families.
- Medical Assistance: Aid for children and individuals facing serious health challenges, including those battling leukemia.
- Reconstruction Efforts: Support for rebuilding damaged infrastructure, enabling communities to regain stability.
A Beacon of Hope for Filipino Communities
In moments of hardship, the dedication of groups like GSLF brings tangible hope to those striving to rebuild their lives. As the foundation moves forward with its mission, the call for continued support and awareness remains crucial. Every contribution—big or small—helps uplift families in distress and strengthens the collective effort to save lives.
