Originating in Cagayan Valley, Philippines, the profound devotion to the “Queen of Cagayan”—affectionately known for her dark-skinned depiction of the Blessed Virgin Mary—has traveled across oceans, finding a deeply rooted home among the Filipino diaspora and local Catholics in Austria.
The day’s events commenced with traditional prayers, hymns, and a collective expression of thanksgiving, drawing together families and individuals looking to honor their spiritual roots.
