The Ministries of Health and Interior have reported 1,002 newly registered coronavirus cases within the last 24 hours (as of 9:30 a.m. today). The states reported these numbers to the national crisis team.
10,768 people have died as a result of coronavirus so far. Currently, 398 people are receiving hospital treatment for coronavirus, 84 of whom are in intensive care units.
7-day incidence at 91.1
According to the Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), the 7-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections with the coronavirus in the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants, is 91.1 (as of 14:00 yesterday).
The number is highest in Vienna (124.3), Upper Austria (109.2) and Vorarlberg (107.2). The figure is lowest in Carinthia (56) and Burgenland (52.4).
