Vaccine Bim on the road again in Vienna starting Dec. 1

In order to increase the vaccination rate, the City of Vienna continues to pursue creative paths. With the Impf-Bim, a streetcar of the Wiener Linien is already in operation for the second time.
First vaccinations administered in Vienna baths
From 01.12.2021 to 28.01.2022, the mobile vaccination center for the Health Service of the City of Vienna can be found at five different locations (with a three-week break around Christmas and New Year). Then, everyone over the age of 6 who has their center of living, education or work in Vienna can get vaccinated against influenza. Against Covid-19, vaccinations are offered for ages 12 and older.

No registration required for vaccination
The streetcar was reconstructed in close coordination with MA 15 – Health Service. It has a reception area and two separate waiting and vaccination areas. MA 15 is responsible for the procedure, vaccine and experts on site.

No registration is necessary to take advantage of the free flu vaccination in the Impf-Bim. In the Impf-Bim there is also the possibility to get a COVID-19 vaccination.

The Vaccination-Bim is available at these five locations on weekdays from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00 (with a break from 20.12.2021 to 07.01.2022 inclusive):

Vaccination ship” on the Danube Canal also starts operation
DDSG Blue Danube Schiffahrt GmbH, in which Wien Holding also holds a stake, is converting one of its ships into a “vaccination ship”. The official commissioning of the “MS Vindobona” for this purpose will also take place on Wednesday on the Danube Canal.
