Forty-two new deaths linked to Covid 19 infection.

From Tuesday to Wednesday, 47,795 new infections were registered in Austria. This is the highest value of the pandemic so far within 24 hours. That is why the value is also significantly higher than the average of the past seven days of 32,661. Currently, 313,593 people in Austria are actively infected with the Coronavirus.

The seven-day incidence is 2,568.5. 470,322 new PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours. This results in a positive rate of 10.16 percent.

There are also 42 new deaths associated with Covid 19 infection to report. To date, the Coronavirus has claimed 15,113 lives in Austria.
