A new wave of phishing messages targets Apple’s iCloud service users, warns the consumer advice center. With the subject “Your file may be deleted,” this email refers to allegedly full iCloud storage. The content includes an invoice with the invoice date, order number, and other data.

The design and approach are reminiscent of a similar phishing attempt from May 2023, which was also about a storage extension and described that you should follow the link, and then your credit card information would be required.
Based on the sender’s address, the unprofessional structure of the email, and the link, which does not redirect to an official Apple website, the message can be clearly identified as a fraud attempt. For this reason, you should never click on the link or pass on any personal data, but instead move the email to the spam folder.
