In a heartwarming act of solidarity, the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of Manaoag, supported by the Through Mary to Jesus (TMTJ) devotional group and Foundation, responded to a call for aid by the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Töllergasse, 1210 Vienna—the initiative aimed to provide winter clothes for those affected by the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

This collaborative effort resulted in collecting numerous sacks of winter clothing, which will soon be transported to the war-torn country. The distribution will be facilitated by established contact persons in Austria who have consistently been involved in similar humanitarian activities over the past few years.

The organizers emphasized the importance of the Filipino community’s support, highlighting their unwavering generosity and willingness to contribute to global causes. “We are grateful to everyone who came together to make this possible. Your kindness will help keep families in Ukraine warm during the harsh winter months,” said one of the initiative’s coordinators.

The Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus has been instrumental in organizing such drives and fostering a culture of compassion across borders. This particular effort is part of a series of charity actions demonstrating that small, united acts of kindness can bring hope and relief to those in need.

This initiative is a testament to the power of faith-driven communities in addressing global challenges and spreading warmth—both literal and figurative—across regions.
