Monday marks the end of the third lockdown in Austria. However, strict rules still apply indoors and in public places.
In indoor and outdoor public places, a minimum distance of two meters instead of one meter must be maintained.
Where previously mouth-nose protection had to be worn, FFP2 is now mandatory, for example in closed rooms in public places or at funerals.
From 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., private living quarters may only be left for the known reasons such as “mental recreation.”
Private meetings of up to four adults and six children are permitted.
Instead of one customer per 10 sq. ft. only one per 20 sq. ft. may be in the store. Body-related service providers: 10 sq. ft.
Hairdressers must have a negative corona test no more than 48 hours old and FFP2 masks.
Construction workers do not need to wear FFP2 mask, but mouth-nose protection, according to the Ministry of Health.
in churches, there will be no spatial restrictions on the number of worshippers. But: two-meter distance, FFP2 mask.
