More than 300,000 people who tested positive for corona have now died in India. The number rises by 4454 to 303,720, according to health ministry data released Monday. The number of new positive tests is reported at 222,315. The total now stands at 26.75 million.
More than 50 million vaccine doses have now been injected in England. As revealed on Saturday by the latest figures from the health authority NHS, around 31.5 million people in England have received their first vaccine dose against Covid-19 since the start of the vaccination campaign in December up to and including Friday, and just under 18.7 million have also already received their second.
