First, the 90-plus seniors in the retirement homes were vaccinated. Then it was the turn of the high-risk and at-risk patients. Then, one by one, the 70-plus, 60-plus, 50-plus and 40-plus age cohorts followed. In between, the company vaccinations were released – here appointments were given without regard to age. The 12- to 17-year-olds already get their jabs as part of the parent-child vaccination program, and everyone between the ages of 18 and 30 will soon be able to get their jabs with Johnson&Johnson at vaccination parties – “heite.at” reported.
The age group of 30 to 39 year olds – 308,915 Viennese – has so far been somewhat left out of Vienna’s vaccination strategy.
This is to change on Friday: Daily newspaper “Heute”” reports, the city will unlock 20,000 appointments for 31- to 39-year-olds on Friday morning. The first appointment will be already next Monday, June 28. The vaccinations will be carried out at the Austria Center Vienna in Vienna-Donaustadt.
