Vienna. The Regional Medical Directorate Vienna and the Medical Crisis Committee of the City of Vienna provide regular information on the current case numbers and other key figures on the Covid 19 virus:
As of Sunday, 27 September 2020, 8.00 a.m., 15,142 positive tests have been confirmed in Vienna. This means that 1,998 persons have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 this calendar week. That is 14.6 percent less than in the previous calendar week. This also means that the average positive rate has fallen from 6.02 percent last calendar week to 5.71 percent in this calendar week. Vienna’s share of positive findings in the whole of Austria is also continuing to fall. While it was 47.41 percent in the previous calendar week, this figure has fallen to 41.23 percent this calendar week – and the trend is still downward.
The number of deaths related to the virus remains unchanged at 244. 10,437 people have recovered. Yesterday, 2,471 corona tests were carried out in Vienna, making a total of 437,463 tests.
