The figures continue to rise: “Additional measures are now being discussed.
The focus is primarily on targeted regional measures,” the Ministry of Health and the Chancellery said on Monday. However, Health Minister Anschober de facto ruled out an imminent 2nd lockdown. These are the measures that will be discussed in the future:
Homeschooling: If districts in Austria were to go to red, the school traffic light would switch to orange and then offer e-learning for upper school students. Two weeks of autumn vacations are also being discussed.
Curfew and bars: The curfew, which is currently moved forward to 10 p.m. in Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Salzburg, could finally come throughout Austria. If the situation should become more serious, the curfew could be brought forward regionally like in Kuchl to 17 o’clock. The restaurants remained open.
Private parties: The ten-person limit for private parties could be reduced to five people.
Nursing homes: Strict ban on visits.
