Our neighboring country remains the absolute Corona hotspot in Europe.
In the Czech Republic, the number of new corona infections exceeded the 11,000 mark for the first time. The Ministry of Health has recorded 11,105 infections in the past 24 hours. The total number of cases is thus 160,112. The Czech Republic was recently the country in Europe in which the number of cases in relation to population size increased most recently.
The Ukraine has also registered a record number of 6,410 new corona infections. 109 patients have died in the last 24 hours, the National Security Council announced. This is also a record value. With 5,992 new infections, the Ukraine had already reported a new record on Friday. In total, the country records 293,641 confirmed infections and 5517 deaths in connection with the pandemic.
