Corona numbers remain high: 2571 new infections reported

On Friday, 1058 people were undergoing hospital treatment for Covid-19, 158 of them in intensive care.

2571 new corona infections have been reported in Austria within 24 hours as of Friday, 9.30 a.m. This means that there are currently 18,266 actively infected persons nationwide. This was reported by the Ministry of the Interior.

So far, there have been 74,415 positive test results in Austria. 954 persons have died with or from SARS-CoV-2, 55,195 have recovered. On Friday 1058 persons were undergoing hospital treatment for Covid-19, 158 of them in intensive care units.

Carinthia: 109

Lower Austria: 257

Upper Austria: 552

Salzburg: 162

Styria: 314

Tyrol: 449

Vorarlberg: 74
