The country extended the curfew to other parts of the country on Thursday evening. 38 additional departments are affected. This means that a total of 46 million of France’s 67 million inhabitants are not allowed on the streets between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. The curfew comes into force on Friday and is valid for six weeks.
