Most new cases were in Lower Austria this time.
Again, almost 3,000 new infections were registered in Austria within 24 hours. This time, the highest number of new cases is in Lower Austria with 590. Vienna followed with 456 and Tyrol with 436 new infections.
So far, there have been 86,102 positive test results in Austria. As of today (October 27, 2020, 09:30 a.m.), 1,005 people throughout Austria have died as a result of the corona virus and 60,308 have recovered. At present, 1,400 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to the corona virus and 203 of these patients are in intensive care units.
The new infections are divided among the provinces of Austria as follows:

Five deaths in Vienna
As of Tuesday, October 27, 2020, 8.00 a.m., 28,130 positive tests have been confirmed in Vienna. The number of deaths related to the virus is 319: four women (95, 85, 66, 54) and one man (87) have died. 20,628 persons have recovered.
Yesterday, 5,388 corona tests were performed in Vienna, making a total of 602,207 tests.
Six new deaths in Styria
In Styria, six new deaths have been registered in connection with the coronavirus, according to a report published by Kommunikation Land Steiermark on Tuesday. The three women and three men had been reported as infected with the virus. As of October 27th in the morning, a total of 204 people in Styria are reported as having died from or with the corona virus.
The deceased were a woman (95) and a man (80) from the district of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag and a man (60) and a woman (95) from the district of Hartberg-Fürstenfeld. Further a woman (88) from the district Voitsberg and a man (71) from the district Murtal died.
