On Friday — the Austria map of the Corona traffic light commission is to be colored red. Only parts of Kärnten could be excluded. On Thursday registered 4,453 new infections. And exceeded thereby that number, which had prognosticated for instance Ages leader Franz Allerberger – 3,000 to 4,000 per day – only for December.
Tirol has highest value
The seven-day incidence is 254 throughout Austria. Tyrol has risen to 376, followed by Vorarlberg with 346, Salzburg with 311 and Upper Austria with 303. The Tyrolean district of Schwaz has an unbelievable incidence of 715 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants.
Vienna has an incidence of 259
So even with the very generous risk adjustments of the Corona Commission, they are all well above the 100 value that this committee had set itself for a red rating. The same applies to Vienna, which has an incidence of 259, Burgenland with 227, Lower Austria and Styria with 199 each and many cases in nursing homes.
Only Carinthia not yet red
The only federal state that could not yet be interpreted in red with risk adjustment would be Carinthia, which, however, has already reached 123.
