Austria, 19 November 2020 – How many people are hospitalized, which districts are most affected? The daily updated overview of all relevant corona figures for Austria.
Two days after the start of the second lockdown, almost 7,000 cases were again reported in Austria, and the number of new infections from Wednesday to Thursday was 6,995.
The number of patients requiring hospital treatment with Covid-19 increased only slightly. 22 more patients than on Wednesday had to be treated. The intensive care units registered one more patient than the day before.
According to figures from the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Health, a total of 4,614 Covid-19 patients were hospitalized on Thursday. 683 needed intensive care, compared to 682 on Wednesday.
